Fit4Kids is searching for kid-loving, community-minded chefs who have just 1 hour to help make food in Richmond Public Schools (RPS) even more delicious and nutritious. Our Eat Fresh RPS initiative has been working wonders to dramatically increase the amount of fruits and vegetables available to over 10,000 students each day. And now we need chefs’ passion and expertise to make this produce as tasty as possible!
On Monday, November 7th, Fit4Kids will be hosting trainings in 20 school cafeterias to empower staff with more skills to prepare, season, and serve better tasting veggies. If you (or someone you know) are a chef willing to invest 1 hour of time into transforming school food, please contact Bethany at Bethany@grfit4kids.org or 224.612.1040. Let’s make Richmond a food city for all!
