On Sunday, October 16, 2016 Greater Richmond Fit4Kids’ Board of Young Professionals will host its second annual Eat & Greet: Transforming Schoolyards at local staple, Pasture! Virginia’s renowned farm-to-table chef Jason Alley will prepare a Learning Garden inspired meal. Dinner will be paired with wine from James River Cellars and local craft beer.
This year’s Eat & Greet will highlight one of our biggest programs, Learning Gardens! Learning Gardens engage children in planting, growing, harvesting, and best of all, tasting fresh, flavorful food—changing the way children feel about vegetables. All are invited to join in the fun and learn more about Fit4Kids’ programming and efforts to combat childhood obesity in the Richmond region.
Tickets for the event can be purchased here, on Eventbrite.
This event would not be possible without our generous sponsors and the hard work of Fit4Kids’ Board of Young Professionals.
