We are ecstatic to welcome a new member to our staff, Mrs. Andrea Price!
Andrea is our new Policy Coordinator and brings a variety of skills and experience to the table!
Andrea is a professional public servant. She’s led facilitated community conversations for local politicians and organized citizens in both rural and urban settings for community-based initiatives.
She also hosts a podcast where guests from around the world share their personal stories of philanthropy. Andrea’s work also includes nonprofit consulting, designing and implementing board member and executive leadership training, and organizing and planning community philanthropy conferences.
In addition to her service work, Andrea is a huge college basketball fan and she enjoys playing basketball. She also loves gardening and sewing. Andrea was born and raised in Monticello, AR, and she currently resides in Chesterfield, VA. She is married to Elvin Price and they have two children. She earned a Bachelor of Exercise Science/Health and Wellness Promotion from Texas Tech University, and Master of Sports Studies from the United States
Sports Academy and a Master of Public Service from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.

1.Why did you choose to come work with Fit4Kids?
I chose to come work with Fit4Kids because of the organization’s commitment to ensuring kids have healthy and bright futures.
2.What has been your best experience with Fit4Kids thus far?
My best experiences so far are getting to know the staff and observing the wellness integrators in action.
3.What part of your job are you most enthused about?
I am most enthused about working on policies that give youth in the Greater Richmond area access to sustainable health and wellness solutions.
5.Mountain or beach vacation?
6.What do you want to be when you grow up?
A professional crafter.
