Movement in the Virtual Classroom
Fit4Kids is here to support elementary school teachers with strategies for keeping students moving while learning in the virtual classroom.
This Fall, teachers and students will be at their computers more than ever before. In addition to learning more about the need for movement in the virtual classroom, teachers will gain skills to develop a toolkit of brain boosters and movement centered lessons specific to the curriculum. Movement best practices improve student engagement while also maintaining positive classroom management.
In the two weeks before school started, we trained more than 300 local elementary school teachers. Feedback included:
“this has been my favorite session so far”
“fabulous ideas that are ready to go! Especially enjoy the Brain Boosters!”
“I can’t wait to use movement as an assessment tool.”
“this was an awesome training and will be very useful for my exceptional education students. I can’t wait to use these strategies in my resource room with my students.”
“This is my 3rd Fit4Kids training and with each one I learn something new. Thank you for all of the resources you have provided.”
“Finally something we can actually use in the classroom.”
