Fit4Kids is hiring a Program Coordinator. This position is full time and leads Fit4Kids Game On, Girl! program and also supports other programs and organizational initiatives as needed. Key Responsibilities

–Manage, coordinate, and facilitate all Game On, Girl! programs: middle school after-school sites, Girls with Goals Leadership Academy, and Summer Summit

–Recruit, manage, and evaluate volunteers and interns to support Fit4Kids programs

–Create curriculum and programmatic resources

–Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders including schools, community partners, etc.

–Develop and implement evaluation plan consistent with grant deliverables

–Manage and curate social media, blogs, and newsletters as it pertains to Game On, Girl! programs as well as support organizational channels

–Support and represent Fit4Kids and Coalition initiatives/programs at relevant community events and meetings

Qualifications

–A passion for improving the health and wellness of children in the Richmond region

–Ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders including local businesses, nonprofits, and schools

–Experience recruiting and retaining volunteers and interns

–Experience facilitating meetings and trainings

–Knowledge of and experience in working with public schools is preferred

–The ability to conceive, develop, and complete tasks without close supervision

–Experience in curriculum development/creation preferred

–Good organizational and interpersonal skills

–The ability to manage multiple tasks and people and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

–Computer competency and proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Office/Google Drive

–Ability to work a flexible schedule
