
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Planning and preparing lesson with co-Coach
-Facilitate 60-90 minute lesson with co-Coach; each lesson includes a section on Sport, Leadership, and Health
-Maintain communication between Program Coordinator, school staff, and students, as it relates to the Game On, Girl! program
-Collect and enter data for various program evaluation requirements to ensure program effectiveness
Expectations:
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, enthusiastic, able to work independently and collaboratively, adaptable, patient, able to work well with children, and able to provide their own transportation to programming sites (as much of our programming is done off-site!). Experience working with groups of children and leading educational sessions, preferred. Prior experience with health and nutrition is not necessary; however, a passion for both is highly encouraged.

The organization is focused on improving children’s health and reducing childhood obesity through innovative school and community based programs.
