Whether you’re into physical activity or (AND!) food, Fit4Kids has an event for you this Fall.
On November 3rd, Fit4Kids is the beneficiary of the RVA 5k (formerly known as Make a Difference Day 5k). This flat, fast course that crosses the James River on the Lee Bridge is one of the prettiest 5k routes in Richmond. Our race is walker, stroller, and runner friendly! 100% of the proceeds benefit Fit4Kids work! Please register here to join us!
Our team at Fit4Kids is running in honor of our friend and colleague, Cynthia Piazza.
As you probably know, Cynthia is a Fit4Kids Wellness Integrator and has a huge heart for kids. She is a long-time teacher and brings an incredible energy to everything she does – including running 29 marathons! We are running for Cynthia as she is currently battling brain cancer. Cynthia ran this race two years ago and won her age division. We can’t think of a better way to say thank you and honor Cynthia’s work with kids than to run in her honor!
On November 10th, Fit4Kids’ Young Professionals’ Board is hosting the 4th annual Eat & Greet at Urban Roost in Scott’s Addition (the Lunch/Supper event space). Starting at 6:30 pm, join us to celebrate and support Fit4Kids for an evening featuring a dinner of farm-to-table tables from Lunch|Supper restaurant, local brews, great company, and live music! Guests will enjoy a fun and immersive experience highlighting Game On, Girl! And the importance of physical activity and health among adolescent girls.
Tickets are $75/guest and limited to the first 125 guests (includes dinner, drinks, and entertainment). Tickets are available now at 2018eatandgreet.eventbrite.com.
