Introducing Children to a Healthy Lifestyle Through Nutrition & Movement
Imagine a world where every child has access to safe walking paths, welcoming green spaces and gardens to play and explore, and classrooms that facilitate movement and health.
At Greater Richmond Fit4Kids, we’re dedicated to improving children’s health and wellness through healthy eating and physical activity.
Wellness Extends Beyond the Classroom
At Fit4Kids, we believe that health and wellness is more than a standard of learning. Our years of experience working directly with kids serve as a foundation for our educational programs. We provide students and families with the tools they need to be stewards of their wellness journey. Families, students, and educators across the Greater Richmond area trust Fit4Kids to instill the importance of health and wellness to the youth of our community.
The Issue of Accessibility
Many families in our community face socio-economic barriers that limit their access to fresh, affordable, and nutritious food and safe outdoor play. While teachers and parents are inundated with competing priorities, it’s easy to put physical health and play on the backburner. Fit4Kids partners with schools and educators to create high-quality programs and collaborative spaces where children can play, move, and learn about the importance of building lifelong healthy habits.
